We are pleased to hear the great news that the SBDC at The College of New Jersey has appointed Lilian Mauro as Assistant Regional Director. We have worked with Lilian for the past three years and believe that she is uniquely qualified for this position, as a woman, as a Peruvian, and as an entrepreneur herself, she understand the demands of our community.

As a program coordinator at the SBDC at TCNJ, Lilian has worked very hard to earn the trust of Hispanics; walking and visiting storefronts in Trenton; building alliances to organize events; developing training programs; scheduling more presentations and counseling sessions in Spanish. Lilian has been a strong allied in Starfish*Global’s efforts to deliver services to Latino entrepreneurs.

We are certain that Lilian Mauro will continue to service and represent the interests of small and Latino business owners in Mercer County. Furthermore, this position empowers Lilian to make a greater impact in the business community and we are committed to support her in this endeavor.
